must be the hint from the boys to the fans, so lets count the way I need this mantra:
- ALL THE BEST to me taking leave from work without the BIGGIE throwing bananas at me and go "NO".
- ALL THE BEST to my bank account because the tickets might just end up costing me one Gucci bag per show. (But of course the boys are more worth it than all Gucci bags combine. =_=)
- ALL THE BEST to me getting the con tickets because there is always the scenario where you are willing to throw money but NO ONE is willing to give up their tickets.
- ALL THE BEST that I don't end up standing OUTSIDE the Dome and biting my thumb in tears coz I didn't managed to get any tickets.
10x10
PS: Well, on a side note, I think it's time to start thinking of the design of the uchiwa, monitor foreign exchange rates, monitor air ticket prices, ways to get tickets...
EVERYTHING BECOMES OKAY WHEN THERE IS NINOAI IN THE WORLD. *O*
VS arashi is LOVE. <3
So ever since I started working, I have been yakking about Arashi to my fan-buddies and not really posting on vox for like... forever. XDDD
While working, I would be sneaking checks on the boys and then getting caught by my boss which eventually earned me a couple of smacks on my head. lololol.
Today, while I was hard at work, a mini conversation was started with my colleague from another department.
Colleague: Ah, so you like Arashi?" [Suddenly asking from behind me.]
Me: YOU KNOW ARASHI?!! =OOOO
Colleague: Well, Arashi is actually written on that calendar so...
Me [Turn back to look at calendar]: Oh... ^^;;;
Colleague: The calendar looks good, who are those guys?
Me: YES, they look good. They are my favourite guys from Japan. =DDD
Colleague: Oh I see, hahaha, you like so many guys.
Me: No no, I only like them. ONLY THEM.
Colleague: LOLOLOL
So now, not only my own department colleagues know about Arashi but so do another colleague from another department.
Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. I'M HOPELESS!!!
As a member of Arashi?
To promote Arashi to America officially?
To check out all the fangirls and tell them all about Arashi and what to expect from Arashi in the future for the press conference?
If anyone mistook it as a Arashi Around America press conference with only Sho as the one to be the representative, I would say that it is just a sad case of not looking into the details - or any details at all.
Sho is there for one thing. To promote the movie as PART of the CAST. He is there to talk about the movie. It is part of his JOB, one of his obligation in the event. He is NOT there alone. The director was also there. It's not his personal fan meet event. There are people there for other reasons other than Sakurai Sho, even if you were there solely for him or just because he is one fifth of Arashi. Can you imagine their horror to know that they will have to do a Johnny's fans competition for tickets when they get there for the director or the movie itself? I'm quite sure that while the fangirls were panicking, so were they.
If the Q&A is about the movie, THEN KEEP IT WITHIN THE TOPIC in that session. Even on the internet forums, when one went off topic severely, the moderator or administrator will intervene to keep the discussion within topic again. What makes others think this PLANNED event would be any different?
While the entire thing was not organised well, I have sympathy for the organisers too. They were overwhelmed. While the fangirls were assuming that the organisers SHOULD HAVE KNOWN how popular Sho might be, they probably DIDN'T. The assumption that one cast out about how others who are non-fans should have known about the boys as if they were fans are arrogant. For your information, even the boys themselves still have no idea just how popular they really are outside of Japan. Even in Japan, there are people who doesn't know just how popular they are so who are we to assume that everyone would "know"?
I'm thankful when more people come to like the boys and admire them for all sorts of reasons. I'm NOT, however, going to start assuming that everyone in the world will come to love and know them as I have come to do so.
- It is good to look at.
- It relieves stress on tough working days and MONDAY BLUES.
- It perks me up.
- It reminds me partly why I'm working hard.
- Some of my colleagues knows what some of the boys are doing, apparently.
I think half my colleagues have already asked me what Arashi is.
Who are they?
Do they sing?
Do they act?
Do they dance?
Honestly, I said that they do all of that. But adding in humble Nino words, "We might not be good at what we are doing though", I told them that they might not be great at all of it but they try hard (with hilarious results frequently) and I love them for it.
=3
Such is life. With Arashi as a part of it. <3
Happy Lunar New Year in advance!
Of course it is still Sakurai Day today, so I'm gonna involve myself in some great sakurai video marathon while stuffing myself with cakes and new year goodies.
Muahahahahaha.
Mr Sakurai, you are a year older and even more awesome.
Happy Birthday, Sho-kun!
Please continue being your gorgeous smart self complete with air muscles, bad hand-foot coordination, manly rapping style, manly dancing, chipmunk humor and etc.
This year, I'm sure I will see even more sides to you and Arashi.
Yoroshiku ne!
<3
So I started working formally. lololol.
And omfg, I'm totally trying to adjust to the normal human hours. In the end when I come back from work, it's all about downloading the shows and then doing my assignments while surfing net. XD
I think I will try to arashify my work cubicle as much as I can, subtly. But weekends is definitely gonna belong to Arashi from now on. So much shows to catch up on. 2009 is definitely gonne be totally busy. T___T
Although the world is having the gloom of world-wide recession looming over their head, but since we are still breathing and thus living, may everyone still strive to get through the difficult period to emerge out as better and wiser people. Life's simple pleasures are still around as long as one learns to appreciate afterall.
Significance of 2009 to me will probably be...
Arashi - Family & Friends & My PC - Arashi - Job (Okane) - Arashi - Studies - Arashi - Good Health - Arashi - Good Food - Arashi - Sleep - Arashi - Travel - Arashi
At this point, Toot asked me to stop and said I'm missing something really important.
Toot says: Whatever happened to happiness?
=O
Rin says: Dude, I said so many times of Arashi. Arashi IS happiness!
=O
Toot says: ... Ohhh? ... That's a lot of happiness. hahaha.
=D
Happy New Year to all! ~
They have no idea who Aiba is.
So I whipped out my mobile phone and showed them pictures of Aiba.
Their conclusion is... Aiba is a pretty man-boy.
LMAO
Today, I met up with Aida, Jim and my buddy to celebrate Xmas by having a good meal at my dad's place. =3
And of course, we celebrated Aiba Day with a cake.
It was really a fantastic mango cheese cake. <3
Too bad the lighting wasn't good for my phone camera. XD
Merry Christmas to all and enjoy your week!
